  12. AmiBack is much better...it can store more than one backup on each tape.  
  13. This is especially useful if you have a large size tape backup unit...I 
  14. have a 2gig DAT tape backup unit hooked up to my Toaster.  AmiBack allows 
  15. me to compress data before it goes to tape, resulting in about 4gigs of 
  16. storage per tape...this allows me to almost back up all my drives onto 
  17. one tape.  =)  It's FAST too!

  19. Quick tip for PAR owners...don't turn on data compression when backing up 
  20. your PAR animations!  They are already compressed with JPEG.
